Generative AI Tools: Product Design Lead
As the Product Design Lead for the newly established Global Product Organization within Concentrix I was tasked with creating two generative AI products. The first, a Product Development Lifecycle tool. This tool leveraged AI to automate steps required of the product development lifecycle. The second, GILEs, a developer co-pilot tool which improved developer efficiency by 30%.
Product Development Lifecycle
The Process
Executive Research: Event mapping for the product development process with the executive team
User Research: 1 of 24 subject matter expert interviews & process mapping
Process Research: gathered all process documentation across the organization to ensure we were moving forward with the best in class process and that it will land with our audience.
Ideation: Documented the end-to-end process for the team to digest
Ideation: High level process blueprint
Ideation: Process flow deep dive. For each step we outlined the outcomes, RACI, AI opportunities, inputs, etc. This example focuses on the intake portion of the process however documentation exists for all steps.
AI Enablement: Technology overview visual to align leadership on how we planned to leverage already created AI-powered technology to stitch together funcitonality for the new product.
Ideation: Initial wireframes mapping out how a user will flow through the experience
MVP Launch: Launched the essential steps of the PDLC (product development lifecycle) product and gathered user feedback.
GILEs (Developer Co-Pilot)
The technology director had already created an MVP of this technology when I got involved. I came in and brought another designer and UX researcher along to iterate on the MVP.
I led the design team to evolve the solution. We followed a process similar to what is aligned above producing an upleveled solution visualized below.
